Fund Dealer - Orders and Executions (French Speaking)

Fund Execution/ Dealer (French speaking) 6-12 month contract role

Working on the Fund Desk service of managing client (institutional investors) orders in funds. You must be able to work to very specific deadlines and you need to ensure that these orders are collected and bulked for submission to the provider within the dealing deadlines of the fund. In addition, you will be ensuring that executions are monitored against set periods and client orders are filled from the executions.

The team and your duties:
The Fund execution team is a team of 5 who are responsible for all aspects of fund dealing.

Order collection , Subscription, Redemption, Switch and Execution (client side)
Order delivery Subscription, Redemption, Switch and Execution (Market side)
Supporting clients on data, order or trade queries
Supporting Fund Promotors on queries,
Maintaining the overall database of Client and Market counterparts
Supporting the maintenance of fund data for the Order management systems


To service client needs surrounding orders and data provision in Funds
Managing order flow (Subscription, Redemption and Switch orders), in a timely manner, within an internal order management system
from the investors;
to the market counterparties.
Managing order execution process (Market and Client) within an internal order management system
Supporting the team manager for general daily business and / or ad-hoc projects.

Experience/ background:

French speaking ( must be fluent and comfortable to speak with Institutional Investors)
Very good understanding of Fund dealing and execution processes
Experience with Fund transfer agent responsibilities and be able to provide support to institutional investors and fund providers, or their TA equally.
You must be a strong team player and be able to work closely with colleagues to ensure that overall tasks relating to orders and executions are completed within the required deadlines.
Also be a very hands on Individual that likes to help other team members.
Must be able to communicate effectively with the Client and Fund providers and team colleagues alike despite the electronic order flow.
An understanding of the e-commerce electronic order flow process and the ways in which orders and executions are received / sent i.e. Swift / Fax / FTP.

Due to the nature of the position a thorough knowledge of Excel, with understanding of Intermediate Formulae, MS Outlook, and Word are essential; Power Point would be an advantage.

Role Purpose

The person in this role will occupy a key position within the business as our client base and product range expands. This role will have specific responsibility for the company's production technology systems, for the on-boarding of clients and for the support of the QA team in testing of new code to enable new products, functionality and clients.

Key Responsibilities

*Proactively monitor the production services.
*Provide first line support to the clients.
*Assist in the creation of a knowledge base to mitigate the number of escalations to the second line team.
*Work with the Client Delivery team to ensure that they have satisfied all pre-production checks/tests before they are released into production.
*Work with the QA team on a rotational basis to assist with quality assurance cycles and to obtain pre-release knowledge of new releases.
*Work closely with internal project staff to ensure that all production requirements are flagged and dealt with during customer on-boarding, ensuring smooth transition into production and to enhance the customer's perception and experience of the service.
*Work with, and communicate to, all customers and internal technical staff during implementations.
*Deal with service incidents that arise and work to achieve a positive outcome in the shortest possible time frame.
*Maintain a high-quality service support and delivery.

Required Knowledge & Experience

*Fluency in English, French and/or German speaking.
*Good technical background.
*Knowledge of the Mutual funds industry.
*Degree educated in one of the following subjects Science, technology, Engineering and Maths
