At the moment I am currently working closely with one of the world's largest travel and leisure platforms, we've made a new and exciting business plan together for the New Year.
We're recruiting for a Senior International Media Relations Manager.
We're starting the New Year with an exciting new fantastic position.
Are you curious how your day would look like? You'll be challenged everyday;
-You will be the master brain of this platform: Developing press releases and alerts targeted at various UK editorial media
-Pitching to national print and online press, regional press, lifestyle media and broadcast media
-Implementing global PR campaigns at a local UK level by localising content provided by the global team
-Developing and implementing strategic consumer PR campaigns with the support of an external agency
-Management of an external PR agency for projects related to the attractions programme
-Identifying and pitching feature opportunities for the platform content within top tier UK media
-Developing content for both editorial and social media purposes included exclusive features and blog posts
-Building and maintaining strong relationships with top tier UK journalists
The Ultimate Media Relations Managers will have:
-Communication! Is the key to this position: OUTSTANDING writing and editing skills, with an ability to tailor content and style according to different audiences
-Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills
-A speed wins mentality - which we define as an ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high quality standard of work
-Creative thinker, with an ability to develop strategic campaigns and identify interesting story angles that will garner press attention while also delivering key messages for the brand (beyond just brand name placement) * Willingness to get 'stuck-in' with media pitching, yet also take a strategic view to managing an agency
-Ability to grasp and analyse data in order to pick out story trends
-Fluent in English Required
Sounds challenging right? Now if you're really looking for your 2018 challenge, as Senior International Media Relations Manager you'll need some experience:
-At least 5 years experience at Reputable PR agency for a consumer brand.
-Outstanding knowledge and understanding of the UK media landscape
-Proven track building well respected relationships with journalists and a record of successfully pitching stories to UK national press and broadcasters
-Thinking outside of the box with new media structure plans!
