Senior Sales Manager

Our client is a leading international supplier of consumer science, data analysis and retail strategy working with clients in the retail and FMCG sector. Due to their success in other markets across Europe and the world, they are now focusing on Germany and the DACH region. They are therefore recruiting a Senior Sales Manager to work from a home-office in Germany and to help build the German market.

 

Senior Sales Manager (m/f) – Retail Software
Permanent Position / Home-office


Your new duties and responsibilities
As the new Senior Sales Manager it will be your responsibility to solely drive the company’s growth and sales in Germany. You will develop new business as well as maintain and identify growth opportunities within the existing client base. Your client base will be in the retail and FMCG sector and your focus will be sales of software solutions. The role is a home-office based role and you report to the Head of Sales based in the UK.

Day-to-day tasks will include:
•    Identify and pursue new clients
•    Develop and cultivate existing and new client relationships
•    Consult and advise clients
•    Represent at fairs and events
•    Develop and implement new sales strategies
•    Compile Sales reports


Your profile
The new Senior Sales Manager should ideally have experience in a similar sales and business development role. You should have extensive experience in software sales on the German market and ideally touched on the retail or FMCG sector, although this is not a must.

The ideal candidate should also have the following qualifications:
•    Bachelor degree in business or equivalent level of studies
•    Fluent German and strong English speaker
•    Strong software sales experience in the German market
•    Service and Consultative selling approach
•    Ideally have experience in the retail and FMCG sector
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Willingness to travel nationally
