Contracts Administrator French Speaking 3 Months FTC

This is a great opportunity to work for a the UK's leading publisher of partworks and collections. The company work with a large number of titles running worldwide and have more licencors, that are well known brands. They are passionate about developing unique and innovative products and our award winning in house creative team produce many unlicensed products each year.

The Opportunity is within the Legal team, and you're core duty will be to assist with the Licensing and contracts.

The main areas of responsibility for this job are:

-Support all phases of discussion with Licensors from a contractual point of view (initiate/check deal memos, review, comment and keep track of contract changes, execute signatures and file executed contracts) Update the contracts database for access by other departments.
-Liaise with relevant Marketing Manager for queries re. Commercial Terms
-Maintain visibility to launch publishing plans to ensure rights are held for each territory.
-Maintain contact with company lawyer concerning drafting of new licensing/sub licensing agreements
-Respond to both internal and external contract administration queries
-Draft/amend commercial contracts as and when required based on existing templates.
-Notarisation of documents.
-Liaise with relevant members of the finance department concerning royalty queries.
-Ensure board minutes are signed, liaising with Companies House
-To work effectively with all teams and associates and attend any internal or external meetings as may be required from time to time.
-To comply with all statutory legislation and company policy, particularly in the interests of health and safety, and to attend any training as requested by the company and/or required by law.

Your skills:
-Qualifications/background in law and/or At least 1-year proven work experience relating to contracts (publishing / music / consumer products; royalties; licensing
-Fluent French Speaking
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
-Ability to carefully research and solve queries
-Good administrative and organisational skills
-Strong attention to detail (thorough and accurate)
-Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to liaise with different departments & at all levels within the organisation)

Salary: £21,000- £24,000 Pro-Rata
