My client, a company that manufactures High-end communication devices are currently seeking a stand-alone Finance Manager onsite in Pulheim/Cologne region:

The Role:

• Overseeing and managing German statutory compliance, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed
• Demonstrating proven and significant experience in financial management at mid to senior levels in Germany, preferably with experience in line management and a strategic background
• Managing monthly management accounts and conducting balance sheet reconciliations
• Performing variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies
• Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls, and providing support for the annual audit, including liaising with external auditor partners
• Participating in the budget process and forecasting activities
• Handling general financial responsibilities, such as VAT reconciliation, tax year reporting, and preparation of financial policies
• Implementing financial processes to improve efficiency within the organisation

The Requirements:

• Accounting qualification and previous experience in Accounting function both strategic/operational
• Fluent German & English language skills
• Advanced Excel
• Ideally at least 3 years in a similar role or senior Accounting function
• Ability to work onsite in Pulheim (Cologne region)
