Job Title: French speaking Accounts Receivable (Hybrid Role)

Location: Exeter (Hybrid Role) - candidates must be commutable distance to Exeter

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Are you fluent in French and possess excellent credit control skills? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as a French-Speaking Credit Controller. This role offers a competitive salary of £24,000 and will be based in Exeter, offering a perfect mix of office-based work and the flexibility of homeworking.

Responsibilities: As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our client's financial stability. Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing Monthly Debt Analysis: You will be responsible for analyzing the company's debt portfolio on a monthly basis. This involves assessing outstanding invoices, identifying potential risk areas, and proposing appropriate actions to mitigate credit issues.
* Chasing Invoices Through the Legal System: In cases where standard credit control methods prove ineffective, you will work with the legal team to escalate the process and ensure timely resolution of outstanding debts.
* Checking Credit Hold Reports: You will regularly review credit hold reports, determining which accounts require additional attention and credit assessment. Your proactive approach will help minimize credit risks and maximize cash flow.
* Producing Month-End Reports with Full Debt Analysis: At the end of each month, you will compile comprehensive reports detailing the debt status, collection progress, and any notable trends. These reports will provide valuable insights to aid in decision-making processes.

Requirements: No experience necessary!

* Native-level fluency in French is essential
* Proven experience in credit control or a related financial role is highly desirable but not essential
* Office based experience is highly advantageous
* Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail are crucial in this role.
* Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools is preferred but not essential
