Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Solutions for Public Sector Accounts

Our client, a leading US organisation for database solutions, is recruiting a Senior Account Executive to drive strategic sales initiatives within the Public Sector accounts in France.

Candidates must have experience of selling enterprise software solutions to French public sector accounts.

Job Description:

  • Define, develop and execute a revenue driven Territory Plan
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that growth and quota objectives are achieved within your territory
  • Establish a thorough understanding of market influences, business drivers, the competitive landscape and the partner ecosystem across your territory
  • Provide guidance & leadership to all functions involved in executing the territory plan, including marketing, telemarketing, presales, partner and PS resources
  • Identify appropriate alliances within your territory in conjunction with the Alliances organisation
  • Ensure that the benefits of the software are understood and communicated at all levels within all key accounts
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for incremental revenue within any existing accounts, and seek to achieve full deployment of licenses within them
  • Maintain your pipeline and forecast in



  • Significant experience of successfully selling Enterprise solutions, ideally involving database, Electronic document management, ECM, EAI, or search engine technology
  • Previous experience of sales to the public sector
  • A strategic outlook and structured approach to Territory and Opportunity planning
  • The ability to hunt and leverage key accounts
  • The ability to assemble and lead a virtual cross-functional team
  • A demonstrable track record of working to understand key account initiatives
  • An excellent communicator, highly motivated and with a passion for winning
  • Accomplished negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and French


Salary: 100K€ basic, 200K€ package
