Technical Support Engineer (French speaking)

Euro London Appointment's client, a world leader in IT security, based in Berkshire, is looking for a talented French & English speaking Technical Support Engineer to join their international team.

This position offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in providing highly specialized Security technologies Technical Support to customers and partners across Europe, the Middle-East and Africa.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate would include:

-Communicating effectively with international clients via phone and e-mail .
-Troubleshooting simple to complex problems on security software and producing documentation and technical notes on the client's products and systems.
-Strong incident management and time planning skills.

The ideal candidate for the role will have strong knowledge or a demonstrable interest in E-mail systems or Cyber Security, a high calibre of customer service with excellent communication skills in English and French combined with the ability to operate as part of an international support team.

The successful candidate for this role will possess:
- At least one significant experience in providing technical support , ideally in the IT security sector or with strong academic security technologies knowledge and an interest in developing a career in this industry.
-Fluent English and French
-Excellent communication skills for assisting customers
-The ability to empathize with customer technical problems and resolve them with understanding in order to exceed customer expectations and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

Essential

*Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise class software products, systems and solutions that include middle tier email / web servers and relational databases in a UNIX / Linux or Windows environment.
*A good understanding of Network, Messaging and Security based products and solutions or strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and a strong desire to learn more about the IT Security sector.
*An understanding of security administration, database administration, table modification and database sizing.

Desirable

*Linux Professional Institute certification
-LPIC 1 - LPIC3
*Microsoft certification in one of the following
-Exchange 2007 / 2010
-SQL Enterprise Server 2005 / 2008
-Windows Server 2008
-VM Ware / Hyper-V certification
-VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
-VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)

Experience with the above technologies without the certification is also highly beneficial.

You should be able to relocate to or commute to the West Berkshire area ( near Reading) where the client is located. Ideally you should be available as soon as possible to begin work.
