With ambitious growth at the heart of their business (having raised $100 million investment recently) our client has recently expanded into the French market and is looking for an experienced , innovative , friendly and creative Software Engineer to join their expanding team.

As a valued team member you will be involved in decomposing the existing platform into micro-services and building new products and platforms from the ground up with a focus on improving performance and delivering and amazing customer experience.

What you'll be doing :

*Levering Rails, Node.js, React, Redux PostgreSQL, GraphQL to build new features, applications and services as our client continually expands their services.
*Reacting to customer and business requests by evolving our client's existing products for desktop and mobile.
*Improving performance at every opportunity you get ( speed is also a feature!)
*Evolving the User Experience based on A/B test results , Google Analytics Data and customer feedback.
*Helping our client scale a website whose traffic is rapidly growing.

You have :

*At least one long-term experience (several years) of professional development experience with a specialism in EITHER Node.js OR Ruby on Rails as a Full-Stack oriented Software Developer.
*Strong working knowledge of JavaScript with modern libraries , ideally React.js
*Solid SQL/Relational database experience ( Postgres is a plus but is not essential)
*A strong appetite for learning and an ability to apply what you learn to making out client's products better.
*Strong communications skills in English for working in an international working environment.
*A friendly, flexible , pragmatic attitude , keen to share ideas with others, suggest improvements and be open to feedback and different approaches in a collaborative environment.

Our client is a law firm located in Paris, London and Washington DC. Responsibilities You will assist a team of almost 30 on all IT needs, alongside 2 Support Analysts based in the UK and US.
