1st level Customer Support Specialist - fluent English

I am working on behalf of an international IT Service provider with their European headquarter in Frankfurt am Main. To strengthen their customer support team, they are currently recruiting a 1st level Customer Support Specialist with fluent English. This is a permanent, full time role to be filled as soon as possible.


1st level Customer Support Specialist – fluent English (m/f)

The Challenge

As the 1st level Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for clients from across Europe. They will contact you in regards to questions, problems or issues they might be having connected to their IT services.

Other day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first level support to clients from Europe
  • Troubleshoot customer issues
  • Work with a ticketing system
  • Help to investigate and resolve problems together with senior IT engineers
  • Support the senior team in bug testing
  • Assist the management with service and process improvements

 

The Right Candidate

As the new 1st level Customer Support Specialist, you should ideally have gained some first experience in a similar IT support or customer service / support role. As this is a European function the main language spoken will be English. Knowledge of German and any further European language is of advantage. 

We expect you have:

  • University degree or equivalent studies
  • Ideally have some first experience in a IT support and customer service/ support
  • Some computer science knowledge is of advantage
  • Experience in trouble shooting and working with a ticketing system is ideal
  • High communication skills, flexible and highly motivated
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of German and/ or other European language is of advantage
