Business Development Manager - German Speaking - DACH Region - £35k (can be negotiated) bonus scheme
A developer of highly technical outdoor apparel and accessories, is looking for a Business Development Manager with native-level German and a huge passion for sports. The position will focus on visiting clients and providing consultative services to market and sell the company brand.

The primary objective is to increase sales and grow market share in their combined region of (France & Germany) working with our distributor network, their channel sales teams and customer base, forging strong relationships with both. Responsible for delivering product knowledge on products and educating them on our technical stories.
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position will report to the EU Regional Sales Manager.
The incumbent will a driven sales professional with a minimum of 3 years proven sales experience, who has a passion for Outerwear and the technical apparel industry. Delivering and conveying information about the company's products, sales programs, marketing initiatives and distribution to the assigned account base.
*Develop relationships with the Distributor/s sales forces with weekly calls & visits to their customer bases, working together on targeted customers.
*Develop superior working relationships with assigned accounts through regular product knowledge meetings, follow up communications, provide quality customer service.
*Arrange business meetings with accounts, when required.
*Promote the company's products and increased sell through of product stocked by the Distributors
*Present the new EU product line each seasonal (2x/year) or more, to targeted Gift Houses
*Plan for "Drop-in" meetings/visits in addition to the product presentations for specific Gift Houses.
*Track Gift House visits and samples sold through the Call Report document and submit the report bi-weekly to management.
*Ensure that sales programs are understood and are being communicated appropriately
*Coordinate with customer service, sales support staff on orders
*Increase sales primarily through forging strong relationships and delivering a high volume of presentations to accounts.
*Attend trade shows, product knowledge sessions, road shows and sales meetings.
*Work with the EU Regional Sales Manager to develop sales plan for targeted region.
*Knowledgeable about market and inform management on changes to sales initiatives or marketing strategies in the market.
*German and English language requirements.
*3 years proven working experience in similar sales role and proven sales track record
*customer support experience is an asset
*Excellent presentation and relationship skills
*Proficient in MS Office
*Highly accountable and motivated by sales targets
*Time management and planning skills
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Post-secondary or bachelors education, or equivalent work experience.
