European Account Development - German Speaking

There's am open market and a huge opportunity awaiting a motivated and curious German speaker at this leading specialist tech company in beautiful Cambridge, where history meets innovation.

The product market is niche on the one hand but with a wide range of existing and potential customers from industry to media to transport. They're growing at a strong rate thanks to consistent innovation - German speaking markets are a big focus; the opportunities there are creating a lot of excitement at HQ.

This role opens doors. In tandem with the marketing team and working within a growing international sales development team, you'll be identifying, researching and approaching target accounts across German speaking markets, seeking opportunities through conversations (phone, email, social media) with key decision makers. The focus is on quality conversations that generate real opportunities. You'll follow intelligent lines of questioning to understand what a customer's problems are and how you can propose real solutions. You'll also take ownership of partner relationships that generate real results. This role can just be the start; ideally you'll want to grow into a field sales role (and beyond). There's a Berlin office and you'll be in contact with it daily.

You'll be naturally curious, tech savvy and able to communicate credibly in native level German as well as fluent English. You'll also be well organised and able to balance they key tasks; prospecting, following up positive conversations, managing relationships and localising marketing content. Initial experience in sales is also strongly preferred.

As well as a competitive basic salary (to £26k), there are bonuses on offer and you will be earning in excess of £30k in total. There's also a positive culture with great benefits, learning and development potential and regular social events.
