German speaking Account Officer

My client is a company that works to preserve and conserve our wildlife. They are looking for a German speaking Account Officer for the DACH region to help ensure compliance and support the licensing team.

The role requires good client-facing skills as well as excellent organisational skills in order to undertake multiple tasks. The right applicant must be passionate about the environment and have a good understanding of conservation issues. Please note that travel is required in this role.


RESPONSIBILITIES
*Data entry, processing of requests and financial statements
*Development and communication of policies to third parties
*Liaison via phone and email and providing solutions concerning questions products, services, and accounts
*Supporting the Account Manager with client meetings, training partners relationship management
*Resolving queries by advising and escalating where necessary
*Building relationships with both internal and external parties
*Supporting the Marketing team with German language communications
*Delivering assigned projects by Manager

SKILLS
*Fluency in German and English
*Minimum 2 year's experience in an administrative support position
*Overall understanding of the full cycle of customer service and sales processes
*Good reporting skills, attention to detail and organisational skills - ability to work as a part of team or independently dependent on situation
*Excellent numeracy and Excel skills
*Good working knowledge of other MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
*Italian, German, Spanish or fluency other European Languages desired

Having family and friends based in Italy allows me to travel there regularly, taking full advantage of the wonderful cuisine every time I go!

I would say that my  main hobby is lacrosse. Training/competing still occupies a lot of my spare time.

  • Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager is a member of Europe, Africa, and Middle East team responsible for managing the company's operations in the region and instituting processes & systems that provide effective internal management. This person will work closely with various EMEA teams including sales, marketing, events, etc. and along with global counterparts to continuously improve operational effectiveness and create processes and systems to support high growth in the region. Qualifications and experience Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a business or IT related field required. Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a diverse group of support functions. Customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations - ability to serve multiple customers and deliver an excellent employee experience. Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud and Administrator. Strong Stakeholder Management, Project Management & Influencing skills with a good understanding of Lean and Business Process Management techniques. Experience in managing teams across different locations, coaching, mentoring. Technology-savvy with an advanced user of applications like MS Visio, project management solutions, reporting and analytics tools like Qlikview, Power BI, etc. Fluent written and spoken English is a must, additional European language preferred (German, French, Spanish, Polish, Russian).
