Business Development Manager - Hydraulic Control Systems

I am working on behalf of a privately owned Global specialist in the design and manufacture of Hydraulic Control Systems. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to further develop business in the German region with potential growth to expand to other European and North and South American regions.

Business Development Manager – Hydraulic Control Systems

Ideally you will have a background in engineering and have a solid sales track record. You will take over an established territory and will be responsible for developing business within existing customers as well as new business.  

Your Responsibilities:


  • Identify and target markets with your region
  • Develop relationships with both existing and new business
  • Conduct training and educational programs for sales channel & customer base.
  • Rolling out new advanced products among existing client base
  • Provide customer service.

Your Profile:

As the Business Development Manager, you should have experience in this niche field and be proactive in maintaining and building sales relationships in the region.

  • Previous experience of selling mechanical components ideally with a focus on safety systems
  • Ideally Mechanical Engineering Degree and preferably a background in the Elevator sector
  • Experience in developing business within both existing and new clients
  • Fluent German and English
  • The ability to travel
